SPRAVATO® is a prescription medicine, used along with an antidepressant taken by mouth to treat:
• Adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD)
• Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or action

Depression is caused by a lack of sufficient activity in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, essentially the front left part of your brain.
When this area is working properly, the entire brain lights up, creating an improved mood, working memory, and selective attention.
Highly Effective
About 70% of patients treated with Spravato® show a clinically meaningful response and about 50% experience a full remission, meaning their symptoms go away completely.
Fits in Your Schedule
You'll take Spravato® twice a week for the first month and once a week for the second month depending on the doctor's evaluation.

Paul Belliveau, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in Adult Psychiatry. He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of adult psychiatry disorders, with a special interest in working with patients with Treatment Resistant Depression. He graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed residency training in Psychiatry at Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Belliveau has been in private practice for over 25 years and has specialized in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Spravato since 2019.
